Celia Green, LCSW

Accepts State Health Plan, Aetna, BCBS, United Health Care

Celia@OurStoryCounseling.com

Celia Green is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supporting adults navigating the daily realities of ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex mood disorders. She understands how exhausting it can feel to manage unpredictable mood shifts, emotional overwhelm, low motivation, irritability, or the sense of being “stuck” in cycles that others may not fully understand.

Celia brings experience from individual and group therapy settings, including outpatient clinics, crisis intervention teams, and community agencies. She creates a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can safely explore their emotions, learn to regulate intense mood states, and rebuild a sense of stability and self-trust. To support expression beyond words, she thoughtfully incorporates art-based and creative approaches when helpful.

Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, alongside creative and strengths-focused modalities. Celia helps clients develop practical coping skills, understand mood patterns, process past and present trauma, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

Above all, Celia is deeply committed to providing compassionate, individualized care. She believes healing happens when people feel seen, understood, and supported—and she partners with clients to help them regain balance, resilience, and hope for the future.
